Staged Reading: April 18, 2018

On April 18, 2018, Kickball  was read live for its very first audience. Below are the videos from that performance. 
The goal of holding this reading was to workshop the script. Theatre is a physical art form, so it was necessary to produce Kickball—to put the words into actors mouths and see them embody the characters—in order to discover what works or does not work well about the play, and be able to make appropriate revisions. The performance was also a great opportunity to open up the work for audience feedback, which helps to gauge the impact and effectiveness of the script.
